Plans & Pricing

The four plans, how to pick by need, and how upgrades, cancellation, and billing work.

Last updated: June 23, 2026

Muses has four plans. The difference between them comes down to two things: how much star power you get each month, and which AI models you can use. Everything else — the editor, your projects, autosave, version history — is the same on every plan.

Pick by what you need

PlanBest forStar power / monthModels
FreeTrying Muses and occasional writing50,000Default only
PlusRegular writing with room to spare5,000,000Default + Prime
ProHeavy, near-daily writing and long pieces25,000,000Default + Prime
UltraThe highest volume of work100,000,000Default + Prime

Free also caps you at 5 projects and 50 articles; paid plans remove those limits.

What each plan costs

PlanMonthlyYearly
Plus$19.99$199 (save ~17%)
Pro$59.99$599 (save ~17%)
Ultra$199.99$1,799 (save ~25%)

Paying yearly bills once and costs less than twelve monthly payments. The numbers here are a guide — the subscription page always shows the current price for your region.

Upgrading and downgrading

  • Upgrading takes effect right away. You only pay the difference for the days left in your current cycle, worked out by the day — not a fresh full charge.
  • Downgrading moves you to the smaller plan; the change and its new allowance apply from your next cycle.

Cancelling — and coming back

You can cancel two ways:

  • At the end of your billing period (recommended) — you keep full access and your remaining allowance until the period ends.
  • Immediately — access ends right away.

If you cancelled at period end and change your mind, you can resume before the period actually lapses, and nothing is interrupted.

Managing your billing

Paid subscribers can open the billing portal from their profile to update a payment method, download invoices, or review subscription details. (Subscriptions given as a gift are managed for you and don't use the portal.)
