Exporting & Sharing

Get your writing out of Muses in four formats — one article or a whole project.

Last updated: June 23, 2026

When a draft is ready to leave Muses — to publish, send, or hand off — you export it. You choose the format and how much to include.

Four formats

Open export and pick the one that fits where the writing is going:

  • Markdown (.md) — for blogs, docs, and anything that takes Markdown.
  • Word (.docx) — for editing and review in Office.
  • TXT (.txt) — plain text, no formatting.
  • PDF (.pdf) — a fixed, ready-to-share document.

One article, or a whole project

Before you export, choose the scope:

  • This article — just the piece you're working on.
  • The whole project — every article in the project, combined into a single file.

Exporting a project is handy when several articles belong together — a series, a chapter set, or one deliverable split across drafts.

Your draft stays put

Exporting doesn't change or remove anything. Your article stays in Muses, fully editable, so you can come back, revise, and export again whenever you like.
