Inspiration Library

Capture and organize writing ideas per article, then reuse them while drafting.

What It Is

Inspiration Library is a lightweight notes area attached to the current article.

Use it to store ideas, references, angle options, and rough bullets while you write.

Unlike Materials Library, inspirations are article-level, not project-level.

Where to Open It

  1. Open an article in the editor.
  2. In the left panel, switch to the Inspiration tab.

Core Actions

Add a New Inspiration

  1. In the Inspiration tab, click the top-right add button.
  2. Type your note.
  3. Save with Cmd/Ctrl + Enter, or click outside to save.
  4. Press Esc to cancel.

Content limit: 2000 characters per inspiration.

Edit an Inspiration

  1. Click an inspiration card.
  2. Update the content.
  3. Save with Cmd/Ctrl + Enter or blur.
  4. Press Esc to cancel edits.

Star Important Ideas

  • Click the star icon on a card to mark it as important.
  • Starred items are pinned to the top automatically.

Delete an Inspiration

  • Hover a card and click the delete icon.
  • Confirm deletion in the dialog.

Best Use Cases

  • Save key points before drafting paragraphs.
  • Keep alternative headlines and hooks in one place.
  • Record facts to verify later.
  • Mark must-use ideas with star for quick access.

Common Issues & Fixes

I cannot see my inspirations

  • Inspiration data belongs to the current article.
  • Switch back to the original article to see its list.

Save did not work

  • Content cannot be empty.
  • Content must be within 2000 characters.

Update or delete fails

  • You need to be signed in.
  • You can only edit inspirations under your own article.
