Materials Library
Store and manage files, URLs, and images at project level for faster writing.

What It Is
Materials Library is a shared asset space for the current project.
You can collect files, URLs, and images in one place, then reuse them while writing.
All articles in the same project can access the same materials.
Where to Open It
- Open any article in the editor.
- In the left panel, open the
Materialstab (next toInspiration).
Add Materials
Files
In the Files tab, you can:
- Click New Article to create a material article.
- Upload document files by drag-and-drop or click-to-select.
Supported formats:
PDFWord (.docx)TXTMarkdown (.md)
File limit: 20MB per file.
URLs
In the URLs tab:
- Open Add Material and switch to
URLs. - Paste an
http://orhttps://URL. - Click Add URL.
Muses will try to fetch page title and content automatically.
Duplicate URLs in the same project are blocked.
Images
In the Images tab, you can upload:

Image limit: 5MB per image.
Images uploaded from editor/chat under the same project may also appear in Materials automatically.
Preview and Manage
- Files: preview, download source file, copy extracted text, delete.
- PDF files: AI summary is generated asynchronously and may show generating/failed/success states.
- URLs: click to open source page in a new tab.
- Images: click to preview and delete when needed.
Common Issues & Fixes
Upload succeeded but item is not visible
- Refresh the Materials panel.
- Confirm you are in the same project.
File upload failed
- Check file type and size limits (
PDF/DOCX/TXT/MD, max20MB). - If request fails, nothing is added to Materials.
URL add failed
- Only
http://andhttps://are supported. - Duplicate URLs in one project will be rejected.
